Is CPO worth it on a 2011 A4?
Hi,
I recently bought a 2011 A4 Quattro with 17.5K miles on it from a non-Audi dealer.
I called up my local Audi dealer and they quoted me a price of $2500 for getting it certified. So they are basically charging me $2500 for 2 year/50000 additional warranty.
Is it worth it? Are these prices negotiable? Or are there any other options...like a 3rd party warrant?
Appreciate all the advice!

I purchased a Audi A4 2009 Premium CPO from a dealer (not a non-dealer). That's not a bad deal if they are willing to CPO the vehicle with all the 300+ point inspections plus give you a 2 year (50,000) warranty which is standard for all CPO cars (assuming you don't have any manufacturer warranty). Do you have the new car warranty still on the vehicle? But ask around and see if you can get a better quote from other dealers.
I don't have experience with CPO warranty coverages, but assuming its an extension of the factory warranty with the same coverage, and it's being issued through Audi with the same clauses and requirements for warranty work, I'd think it would be worthwhile peace of mind since that'll carry you beyond the factory warranty and into a mileage/age range where you might be more apt to need it.
