Yes that does stink, ive had few close calls and im lukcy i havent had a scratch. ( knocking on wood). Have fun on the 250cc

 

Euro and Aussie Fords kick ***! And yeah, the STi isn't bad, but when you're comparing it to an Evo, the Evo is more than just 'better'. Sucks that the insurance is being retarded...

 

ouch, sorry to hear about the car man...glad you're ok though...could've been so much worse.

can you just buy the new parts and replace them yourself? ie. new coolant reservoir/tubes, new or painted bumper, new hood? If there isn't any *real* engine damage you should be able to do a bit of it yourself and save out on quite a bit of labor money. let us know how it turns out, with pics if you can.

Hey man if I was you, I'd go for the sti. Although I like the evos better, everyone wants one so they're gonna be much more expensive, and the ride is really stiff, when i drove my friends, I didn't think i would like it for an everyday car. Sorry about the accident btw.

I personally think the sti is a better car then the evo. I know that the evo is faster and handles better but the subaru is a more quality build. It's not always how fast your car is going to be if it falls apart every so often. Many kids around my town have sti's and there are few with evos. Their evos are in the shop like every month because something went wrong. Where the sti's are never in the shops. But the evos are also kicking the sti's *** every night so I guess there is a significant trade off.
