She's stepping up though - doing more DIYs every time. Faith comes with practice. Tinting is easy - tinting well is not. I'm gonna give my car a try myself, but only the sides. I'm leaving the rear window to a pro - there are tricks like using heat to mold the shape of the tint, which help a lot if you know just how to do it. I'm going to try mine (for 12 bucks a roll, it's hard to justify not trying at least), but regardless of the results, Tint Condition in Endicott is getting the job for the rear window. Killer tint work there, and they have done tint on glass much more curved than the A4 using only one piece of tint, no cut lines. They can have it for that.

Yep - that's exactly why I'm gonna leave the rear window to a pro. If I screw up the sides, it's not a huge deal to remove it and have them do it, but if I screw up the rear, I don't wanna deal with removing it and trying not to damage my defroster either.

I tried tinting my tails with film that I bought at Advance and it didn't even come close to working. I'm just not willing to risk that mess. I just got done painting the damn car, give me some credit here! A wise woman knows her limitations.

if you want to tint your tails, get a spray. it's a huge PITA to do it by film. guess you weren't wise enough to know that woman. hehehe

well your audi does have some bigger ***** than mine ; ) idk i think it would be a nice match up. i think the avants are a tiny bit heavier but you do have a little bit more hp. you got tip and i got a 5 speed. idk it sounds pretty close to me. of course if you got a tip chip you would def win.

Don't forget that functional cruise control and painted lowers add ten billion hp.
