Ok, I have a 98 A4 automatic for a few weeks and the cruise has never worked. The only code that comes up on teh vag com is the brake light switch which I hear isn't a big deal. I looked in the owners manual and the place that the cruise control fuse is supposed to go is blank. There isn't even contacts in there. What in the world? Am I missing something?

It could alsobe your stalk switch, which corrodes andcan be cleaned in a couple ways and/or slightly more likely, based on my research, the module. It can be other things too though.I'd do a search here and on Audizine forums whos forum search engine returns threads rather than all the posts in which, for example, someone wrote "cruise control".
