Default Dammit...

Just had to bring in the 97 A4 for the 60k service... $600+ later, I'll have new spark plugs and fluids.[&:]

Frick. Is this normal, or am I getting completely fucked? For any Portland folks, it's at Sunset Audi in Beaver-tron. Any other places around town I should look next time???

Yea, I have no garage, and seriously no time to do the work myself... I'm in the middle of a big project at work, so that means I CAN afford to do this... But HOLY ****, 60k service was only like $250 on my Honda... <----

I forgot, they are also putting in new rotors/pads/brake fluid as well... Maybe they are changing the tranny fluid?[&:]

There is no reason to go to the Audi Stealership for an out of warranty car. That was WAY WAY too much! Go find a good Euro mechanic,

It takes half an hour to change your plugs.

rotors and pads will make price jump considerably, so you aren't getting as screwed as initially thought. Still - do like Jest says - stay away from the dealership on an out-of-warranty car, unless it is something audi specific like tiptronic probs, multilink susp, etc. The price will be much cheaper

The reason I decided to take it in to the dealer was because I was under the impression that the warranty they sold me with the car would cover this service. Clearly, they mislead me. ******* jerks...[&:]

Well now that I see you got pads and rotors yeah it's not tooooo bad of a price. Your warranty only covers non wear and tear items?

It may... I don't have the papers with me, so we'll find out when I pick the car up...

Ironic though, I could have almost bought my springs/shocks for that price...[&:]
