Default Dashboard Trim Question

Is it possible to replace that with the chrome one or whichever material the shiny silver one is made out of? Is it easy? I have the dark wood.

Granted, this is for a B5, but here is a link to give you the general idea what you are in for in doing this:

It can absolutely be done, but there's going to be quite a bit of disassembly. That being said, I'm removing my wood trim tomorrow to paint it to match the car (bright silver).

Wow I didn't realize you had to remove so much, I thought it was basically pop it off and pop it on, anyway, thanks for the info!

No problem - it's gonna be a job for sure, but it should look better than the plastic wood that the car came with, so it'll be worth the work.
