So I am taking automotive courses in college and I bring my car up there every once in a while. They have a multiple thousand dollar scanner/programmer/diognostic reader there. I plugged it into my cigarette outlet and drove around for a bit. When that scan tool, you can turn up the boost and tune everything like having an ECU upgrade without actually having the upgrade. I ran it for a while and upped the boost a little and everything ran good and my car wasn't throwing up any codes or anything. What confused me was if you wanted to leave it boosted up and everything the scan tool needed dealership codes to leave it that way. I called several Audi dealerships and told them what was going on and they all acted as if they had no idea what I was talking about. Does anyone know any dealership codes like that or does anyone have any information at all? Let me know. Thanks
