according to some of APR's info, they worked with the manufacture to redesign the injectors for a spray pattern that allow the car to run better at idle adn lower speeds

Apr goes for smooth and daily driven power. The injectors are still made by bosch and have the stock style spray pattern. With the head design and 5 valve setup, it needs to be right or startup and idle sucks.

you can't always believe what your read. APR publishes veryconservative numbers for what they're kits are capable of. at least for their B5, B6, and MK4 turbo kits.. the newer B7, and MK5 kits they are working on/have finished are very on Tee..

but in they're stg3+ kits they use custom APR 550cc injectors. my REVO tune was written for 440cc's btw. and our ecu's have the capbability to compensate injector flow rate up to 25%. so i could run up to a 25% larger(550cc) injector and be fine. or even larger injectors and lemmi tweak it.. but there is no point unless i have a turbo big enough to utilize the larger injectors

With limmiwinks and a EBC, would i be able to turn up the boost while watching the A/F ratio and keeping it in a good range?

Your cars not VVT so you dont have a wbo2, you would need a wbo2 to get accurate a/f readings. But you can still adjust timing and fuel with limmingwinks and deffinatly increase boost with a ebc. 24psi is about the limit for pump.

yes, you have stock WB so it'll be very easy and worry free to turn up the boost.. when you get an APR stg3/3+ kit, you gain access to their private forums. so everyone on there has the kit and has figured out the best way's to maximize the output of their kits..

FWIW, i have seen 320+Awhp and Awtq from a 3+ kit
