Default ******** drivers

so the worst day of my life was last friday. i was working at a customers house of mine i walked out to my car to go get my phone and come out to the worst thing i could have seen. my driver headlight on the ground and my bumper and fender dented and ripped. my heart dropped. some **** head hit and ran my car. the worst part about this story is that my full coverage insurance isnt covering it because of the fact i was working. i talked to my boss and he going to try to put it on his insurance but my car isnt on there insurance so i hope it works out.

im looking for a headlight so that i can at least drive my car. i have a the have xenon headlights that move up and down. all the parts in the headlight is good just the clear plastic in the front and it cracked. will any headlight work or is there a difference between my headlight and ones without xenon. thanks guys

Sorry to hear about that.

Yes there is a difference between xenon headlights and halogen headlights. So you can't just put any headlight in.

Man, that is one nasty story. I'm sorry. I wish I could help you with the parts, I'm just to new with Audi's, and haven't made the connections yet, like with some of my other rides. But hey, what's the insurance story??!! You have full coverage (including comprehensive I assume, ) and they won't cover you becuase you were working? I don't get it. I mean, if I'm at work, and my car is in the parking lot or out in the street and gets smacked by some hit and run lowlife my full coverage handles it...What's the dif? Are you self imployed? If so, how does that affect it? You weren't operating the car on company bizz, and it's on private property, or the street? What am I missing?

i think thats cause he was working using his car, i dont think its the same thing. Likevern said if i am at work and int the parking lot some *** hole hits it and leaves it would be covered. So how is it different for active. He wasnt transport anything so i dont think it should matter. Whats teh difference if he was working at someones house or at a friends house.

WTF? Why wont your insurance cover it? Fight with them too, or get a lawyer... there isnt a stipulation that says we wont cover you if your doing something... **** that car was parked in a normal spot right? I mean i can imagine them saying no if it happened in a company parking lot or something to that effect..

Maybe it's different over there but here in Australia. If you use your car for work it's a higher premium. I wouldn't have told them that you were there for work but thats only cos I hate insurance people. Your boss should have you on his insurance but unfortunately in this instance I don't like your chances. If it is going to be really expensive you could just get asecond insurance policy & pull a shift on em' but up to you of course. Real sorry to hear about that but.
