I have heard that you can have the check engine light code displayed on the screen between the speedometer and the tachometer by turning on and off the ignition switch in a certain sequence. Has anybody ever heard of this?

 

I read things of that nature dont know what the process is but i find it easier to just have autozone scan it for me.
