Probably GIAC. There is a local shop that only does VW/Audi and they do the installs. They were actually on the GIAC website under locate a dealer or something.

I wanted to try something like TAP or one of the less widely used, but then I thought if anything goes wrong then the shop is only a 10 min drive. As well, why not go with a product that is so widely used, more reliable since this is my daily driver. There is always the fact that I want to eventually get a K04 upgrade so GIAC seems very logical.

 

I have a TAP chip... I dunno, it works well enough. But I had an issue with an email I got from them... this particular customer service person was a bit of a douche. I'd go GIAC or APR and never look back.

Plus GIAC and APR make 30 lbs more torque. -- TAP makes 50 lbs, the others make 80
