I have a 98 A4 and am contemplating about getting a diverter valve for my car and if it would help the turbo spool up quicker. If so how would I install it and would I need any supplies toinstallit like a vacum hose.I am also getting a intake for it any ideas on what kind I should get i.e. short ram/cold air and what company makes thebest ones. thanks

 

a dv wont make any performance gain to your car, i just prevents you from losing power. you will just need simple hand tools and jackstands (it is under the car behind the passenger headlight).

intakes also wont give you any gains, it just make the dv louder. So you can go put a filter on the maf or take a U bend (2.75") and then add a filter.
