Does chip affect MPG?

RE: Does chip affect MPG?
I hope he was joking, cause that would be BS.
I get 22 MPG, mash the gas to 4k every shift and occasionally redline. I used to get 18.6 MPG average untill I got the Borla Exhaust, it has really increased my MPG. I had 25mpg on my 1,000 mile trip to Arizona, all highway, not to shabby. I imagine my new cold air intake will slightly increase it, if i don't redline it more that is
But yeah I'm happy with my current gas mileage!

I find if I keep it under 70 on the highway, I can average around 24 mpg on a tank (mostly highway), which is about 360 miles to the tank. I kinda wish it was better, but I guess it's a pretty heavy car with a lot of driveline friction. but yeah, the mileage goes in the sh*tter with any throttle mashing.
