Hey guys I thought maybe you can help me out here.
I bought 98 A4 1.8T quattro from a friend of mine but it has few problems.
I do have small leak, but can really tell where it's coming from and I dont really wanna take the engine appart, not just yet. well to be honest it's leaking from the front and back of the engine (I was thinking cam shaft seal or crank shaf)
but my main concern is i bearly had any power at the start, aspecially when it's first thing in the morning and the car is still cold. Most of the time i have to "ride the clutch" to get it going. so on low rpm i would floor the gas but it would bearly pick up the speed, but when i'm over 2.5k i'm ok to drive.
So does anyone know why would it do that? Or what should I be looking for?
