Default Downpipe help!

im lookin at this downpipe:

http://www.ecodetuning.com/shop/cart...tail&p=670

would that suffice?

they claim 40fwtq and 10-15fwhp but im sure thats grossly overestimated...what kind of gains would i be looking at w/ an aftermarket downpipe? (i already have exhaust)

That will do.

What turbo are you running? It should make 10hp on stock turbo, more if BT.

looks good, I'd def go for it...Im guessing since you already have exhaust, my guess would be that you could add 10-15 wtq...

well, gl!

carbonio intake is only for looks, it doesn't really add any hp. for the money it might not be worth it, i had mine put on and it did not do anything performance wise.

The downpipe looks nice and Im sure that it will make good power but will it fit your turbo? Be sure that it will fit the back housing of the turbo before you purchase it and that it was made on the car. Dont want it hitting the firewall, I know that can happen because its happened to me when making them on a JIG.

Goodluck,

Adam~

On the injectors, it all depends on what you plan on doing with the car. When you do larger injectors that means you are needing to add additional fuel for the extra boost and HP that you are needing to make. Are you just going to chip it with the stage 1 then be done or are you getting say a GT2871R or larger? Stock turbo then no, larger turbo then yes.

i say a test pipe (thats not a down pipe likeu said) is a good cheap upgrade
but u'll never pass a smog test again and is illegal in most states
but i say u should get a nice exhuast system wit a down pipe to help use its full potential

if your gonna go APR stage 1+ (performance chip with the larger injector programing) i say a test pipe will help alot, but remember u will also need a FMIC and other stuff, they say APR statge 1+ is like getting chipped again

i say you should just start off wit a regualr chip then when ur bored upgrade to stage 1+ wit the larger injectors and programin becasue most shops let u up grade the programmin for cheap and all u have to do is buy the injectors from them
