Driver door speakers not working.
I havea 99.5 A4 1.8T ATwith the bose system (6 cd changer). The driver door speakers are not working. The rest of the speakers do.
As suggested on this board I have taken the door panel out and tested the voltage at the wire before the split. It shows 0.5V at most and there is a very light hiss sound from the tweeter. Nothing from the main speaker.
I tried to get the radio out but it is a bitch. I have some radio removal tools but they are not for Audi and I could only pull out the right side. I also understand that if I disconnect the radio I will need the radio code (which I don't have. Bought the car used).
Does this system have an AMP and if it does then where exactly is the AMP located? Since I can't get the radio out I want to see if maybe the problem is somewhere else.

Stupid quetion. Is it supposed to sit under the CD changer? I have an empty space there. If it's behind the side wall carpet then how do you remove it? It seems impossible to remove.
