Dv Install
So I got my new(used) Dv from brian(chaos) yesterday but did'nt have any time to install it, due to homework. I really thoughtthat it was going to take me about 2 hours but that for sure was not the case. I am posting this for two reasons. 1. To show the benefits of this upgrade. 2. That it is so easy, my mom could have done it. It litterally took me 10 minutes to jack the car up, loosen the clamps, take out the old POS and put in the new one. It was so freaking easy. So if you are a noob dont be discouraged. I Know I have a little more expirience then some people but its so easy, anyone really can do it. So here are a few pics and two short clips. And yes that ugly greasy goober is me
and yes I cant evengrowfacial hair, well maybe i guess, lol.Another thank you to brian morgan for a great deal on a perfectly working part. Please feel free to ask any questions, you noobs out there. I will be very glad to help.

The 0-60 still isnt great around 7 seconds, Its kinda hard to film, pay attention to the road, steer, and shift.

glad you like it. did you know you have it in backwards? which still works, but its usually louder if you do it the other way
you dont put it in the same way as the stock dv. the stock dv is put in sideways because it is a diaphragm, so the pressure needs to come in from the side so that there isn't constant pressure beeing put on both sides of the diaphragm, like if you were to put the bottom of the valve into the turbo outlet hose. with a piston style valve like the 006 you want the pressure under the valve so that it helps open the valve when the pressure in the small vac line is released and becomes vacuum.

^lol i dont work on the car while im high, lol. Too much stuff would go wrong. My nickname when im high is brock because my eyes get chinked. But I always close my eyes when I see a flash. And I wasnt aware that i installed it backwards, oh well I like it. Maybe ill switch it around tonight and see if it makes a difference.
yeah both ways work. some guys notice a psi difference between the two ways, while others it's just a sound difference. should only take under 10 minutes since yours is at the bottom, so its worth trying both.
