Default dv problem?

So i started installing a new dv tonight in the dark. I hit some trouble tho. the clamps are not coming off very easily, and i dont think i have one for the small vaccum tube. Secondly i had to start the car twice for a minute to move it, with the DV unhooked what damaged coudl that have done?

orignally my vac line fell off i though no biggie put it back on after 10 min of driving im spiking at 8psi im thiinking no way thats right maybe it fell again i check everything is right, so me being a dumbass i take my car to the track as i had planned that day, did two runs with horrible times and on the final run my car sounds like a dying cow under accel, i get home (60 mile drive) in 45 min the next day i put in my oem i check out my r1, it is collapsed inside. i call up apr they gave me a return order and they said theyll fix it and my xbox 360 broke so no more halo 3 for a while, but microsft said im under waranty so im golden..ish im not so happy this week

Are you willing to sale your carbonio intake since you seem not be happy with it? How much?

intake will add 0 hp...

my R1 also failed/mooed apparently they had a bad batch but its been resolved now.... i would order from APR directly though

yes all the lines on the DV have the OEM one time use clamps... u need a L shaped needlepoint tool... otherwise u can forget cutting them off with dykes... they are tough!!!!!!!

i ended up dremeling them off and i cut the vacuum line right above the DV....in hindsight, i could have taken the two big lines off then pulled it down to dremel off the last clamp....but it works fine.... no biggie there is plenty of extra line to slide it on the new DV and zip tie it on
