How can I tell if I have E-codes or not? i know mine are one piece and I have a 2001.5 1.8t QMS.

ECODES are european spec head lights


do u have those yellow reflectors on them
and if u dont have the yellow reflectors does it look like someone took them out

some people remove the yellow reflector off the US spec headlights
when they do they still leave lil holes which they seal
ECODES have no holds

Do the DIY to remove the head lights yellow reflectors. Its easy and it makes it look real nice

the clear corner mod (removing the yellow reflector) really does make a huge difference, im glad i did it and it only takes about an hour, or two if youre new to this stuff like me!

i think that removing the yellow on the us-spec lights look better then the side marker on the e-codes i got mine cause one of mine was broke and i found some ecodes for less money then the us-spec ones

does any one know where I can find the write up for 1 piece lights. i have found write up before and they all mention two tabs, my lights have three. I carefuly got rid of the tabs but the aber piece is still very secure. Any thoughts?
