Default Early morning scare

So I leave my apt and the car is running just fine. I pullout onto the road an BAM hear a noise from the front end and no power and car starts to sputter and will not accelerate. I pull into the next apt building's lot and stop - car dies. I'm thinking **** its the TB (even though I replaced it a month ago). I turn it over again and it starts idles just fine. put it in drive and same thing no power just sputters like it fighting to stay running. I get out pop the hood, I'm now thinkin that the hose came off the turbo or maf and I have a air leak. ended up that the hose from the SMIC to the intake manifold had slipped off the intake. grabbed my screw driver out of the trunk and put it back on - still made it to work on time scared the **** out of me

Sounds like fun. Just think, had you been incompetent, you would have called a flat bed and had it taken to a place that would charge you $50+ to put it back on. Its called the Throtle Body Boot btw.
