I have one with K&N filter. You'll lose some mpg but the sound after 3k rpm is all worth it. The engine will also be a tad more responsive.

I have that exact kit. The install is a piece of cake - about 15 minutes or so. I agree with the other guys that it really does sound great - it's a hollow resonant roar, almost like a car in a tunnel, from a distance lol (if that makes any sense). Trey25 says he lost a few mpg, but I have not. My 2.8 is getting just a fraction under 32 mpg on the highway (no joke), and around town I'm in the mid-20s for mpg. Don't sweat that a bit. Trey25 is also right in the feeling that the engine is more responsive - it seems that way to me as well. Could be placebo effect, but who knows? In any event, it sounds great and you'll never have to buy another air filter, so down the road it'll save you money. Kind of hard to justify not getting it with that stuff in mind.

Umm.. not to bad, I'm sorta mechanically inclined.. so it might be easier for you. Me and my friend got intakes around the same time and we had just installed his so I had a general idea of what I was doing. After you get the stock airbox out, its pretty much a breeze.

Yeah, I love my car, but damn is it hard to mod... everything is so damn expensive. An S/C is my dream but it will never happen because I just don't see investing 5,000 dollars in a car that has over 110,000 miles on it.
