For a vw tech you seem to lack some tech knowledge asking people how to open a hood, Don't you deal with this at work? Also closed loop is when the car is not warmed up meaning the computer is not relying on the o2 inputs and runs on a preset map until warm. A cross flow inter cooler is better than a vertical inter cooler because the cooling area is larger. Other than those facts you provide almost no tech knowledge and the only thread you have it was **** poor. Go back to school if you really are a tech.

Don't talk **** about other peoples mods unless they are unsafe or mechanically unsound. What people choose to do to their cars is their concern and many time can be better and cheaper than your. I can buy a Spearco inter cooler core off ebay weld on end tanks and use custom piping to create my own inter cooler kit for half the price of yours and have it be 1000hp capable. They can go to home depot and build their own intake system and heat shield for $25 and have just as good of flow and perform better than your carbino due to less heat soak and use the factory air box cover making it look stock. If you want to reply to this I can start bashing how your car looks next.
