ECU QUESTION ???

on a 1997 auto tranny a4 quattro, does the ecu control shifting ? or is their a seperate tranny control unit ?

seperate its called the tcu located where the front person puts there feet under the carpet. not positive but thats how it is in my car soooo. i dunno i guess you could check it

Transmission control unit is under the passenger front carpet.
