Not looking for a huge HP number, hopefully around 260-275. Two reasons for using the K24, one I intend to track the car and don't want to roast the factory turbo with just a chip, two they can be had cheap. Bought one in almost perfect condition for 125.00. Custom fab and metal work is not a problem. Tuning can be though. Have used several stand alones and they are alway a bitch to get completely tuned. Tweaking the factory set up would be much prefered.

have you contacted ctapp, about a custom tune ?

 

At the crank, maybe a little more. A 20 minute heat on the track is a lot different that 12sec quarter. Want a reliable set up. Could have gone GT28R but I just enjoy building my own thing. Think MTM got over 325hp with a K24. I realize boost my come in a little late but I don't havea problem keeping the revs up on the track.

 

Have spoken with Upsolute and one other that I don't remember the name but not ctapp. Both the companies I spoke with said they could do custom chips but that I would take a couple of chip changes and would be expensive to get right.
