Default Electric Sunroof problem

I have recently bought a 1995 A4 1.8 Turbo and it is in amazing condition for the age, but today the electric sunroof has developed a mind of its own.

When i was driving along with the dial set to 'closed' the sunroof opened and wouldnt close again, but would slighty go up and down in random intervals.

If anyone could help me with this problem, would be very much apprciated

Cheers

weird. hope it wasn't raining when that happened!

I don't know what your issue might be, but someone else will probably be along shortly to help with your question.

It is often the switch. remove the cover and clean the switch with TV tuner cleaner or contact cleaner which you can buy at radio shack.
