Sometimes when I start my 2006 A4, the engine runs, but nothing else will happen. It won't go into gear. Won't move. The low oil pressure symbol lights up. If I turn off the key and start over, everything's fine. What's up? Am I headed for serious trouble?

 

I would get that checked out ASAP, there are a couple of things that can cause that, a few of them could be pretty bad. Hopefully its just a faulty ECM.

 

I did get it checked out. For the last two days the dealer kept the car. No problem turned up. They told me not to worry about it! But your advice suggests I should worry. Also, what's an ECM?
