engine code

Hey guys, just wondering if anybody would knowwhat the problem might be. I got a code P1136 Air/Fuel metering. I had them clear it but it came back after 2 days.

The problem is that clearing a code doesn't make the problem go away.

Check for Vacuum leaks, false air entry, or bad MAF.

ye si know, but im just wondering how i even check for it.. Anybody had this code thrown?

Hopefully, you know how to check for vacuum leaks.

For the MAF, you will need to borrow a VAGcom and check airflow readings.

To check for a vacuum leak spray carb cleaner to suspected areas. If you have a scan tool you can watch for a change in o2 readings. Otherwise youll have to listen for the engine to change sounds.
