Engine difference between FWD B5 and B5 quattro?

Ok, since no one else did the math.

110kw = 147hp
134kw = 180hp

The 12V is rated at 190hp

Yes i'm from Australia.... i've had my Audi for 2 weeks now, My previous ride was a 180sx (SR20det) with 280kw and i'm tech minded.
I have found an Australian Audi forum and haveasked this question aswell so represent!..... I'm not going to abuse anyone because us Aussies are fun loving people and thats why your women love us!! so below i have made it abit more simple to understand my question.

b5 FWD=110kw at engine
b5 Quattro=134kw at engine
(got nothing to do with drivetrain)

Why is this??

12V is 172hp. 30V is 190hp.

yeah^. and if im not mistaken the austrailian version is a 2.7l. i think? but as far as the engine diffrences i dont know, never heard of diffrent engines being put into quattro's.
