I've been to the dealer and they tell me that the knock (10th second on video) is normal. It only happens when cold outside and on very first start of the day. Otherwise all is well.

Anyone think I should be worried? I still have 500 miles of warranty and would like to spot any potential problem prior to its expiration.

Car has new timing belt, alternator, fuel filter, and I use 5-40. I've read other posts suggesting chain tensioner on similar issues, another post mentioned a data update, etc.

The following link provides a video taken 3 days ago. It's my mothers car and I would like for the old lady to have peace of mind. Thanks a bunch.

 

If it's the little 'clank clank', then that is NOT normal.
