Default Enlighten me

I have a friend who has a saab 92x (wrx wagon). He is completely obsessed with it. He had tried in vain for nearly 6 months to keep me from getting a a4. Now all I hear from him is why the wrx is supiorer to the a4. I need some ammo to fire back at him so he shuts his yapper. Addmitedly the wrx handles nearly flawlessly, but is not nearly has smooth. Does the wrx have 4 bar suspension, or is it mcpherson? Thanks!

Well, I drove both versions of the Saabaru and all I can say is that their options packages are non-existent and that I like the 2.5 non-turbo motor better around town (because it had more initial get up and go) than the stupid 2.2 WRX special. Why you ask? Because that tiny tiny little engine with the big turbo has NO NUTS off the line until you hit around 30 or 35 mph. I mean it was embarrassing when I put the pedal on the floor and grandma Jones was passing me in her 1994 Buick with the fake top. The little guy takes SO LONG to spool that I race WRX's in my 4-RING Beauty all the time in the city and 9/10 they won't do it because they know that they will lose from one light to the next. Now if there were time to get past 40 than they would kill me, but we all know this (and my previous statements don't apply for modified WRXs). Subaru has changed to motor in the new WRX to a larger displacement, but I am not sure if this engine will carry over to the Saab. But since your buddy has already bought his, he basically has a cheap plasticky Japanese car wearing a Swedish suit (well, maybe just the pants or jacket since it doesn't look at all Saab except for the grill) that is owned by an American company. And to top it all off, his sound system SUCKS absolute nuts unless he's put good money into installing something totally new. I would just politely remind him of what SAAB actually stands for... SAAB- Something An A$$hole Buys...Hope this helps...

From airplanes. Maybe they should stick with those. As far as i know the saabaroo uses macferson, which is not as good of a handling suspension as the four link used in the audis. The four link breaks more often but you dont have to tell him that. The audi also uses a torsion center diff which is the pimp daddy of center diffs, compared to the viscus type they use.
