Default enlighten me

i once again got that little service inspection thing light up once i start the car. its on the screen that shows the millage. i have totally forgotten how to reset it again, i know that there was something like turning the key 1 click and pressing the reset ****. could someone tell me exactly how this should be done?

Hold down the right-hand stalk and turn the key on (don't start the engine). Pull out on the left-hand stalk by the clock once (resets oil counter) and then a second time (for service reminder). Then turn off the key and let go of the right hand stalk. Turn the key back on and you'll see the odometer and trip odometer.

this method didnt work for me when i pull on the left-hand side stalk all it does is change the time on my clock...

Try it the other way with respect to the stalks but I think it is the way above. Worth trying it the opposite way though.

i tired this it didnt work mine is flashing insp. its it the same way for my 96

I thought it was "pull out the right stalk and hold while turning the key to the on position". But it's been awhile since I've done it.

I don't think it involved pulling the left stalk, though, cause that would advance the clock.

i will try looking in my manual, maybe there is some info on this in there lol
