does any1 know if the evolution intercooler gives much horsepower and if you have to do any modifications to the bumper?

Btw , FMIC does not ADD HP , it recovers LOST HP

 

I just fitted my EVO FMIC under my stock front bumper last thursday well this thursday I need to bring out the dremel and cut away some of the stock bumper but for HP gains if you are stock I would not recommend this as the stock K03 does not need it and you will probley lose HP at least a K04 turbo upgrade then you should upgrade your FMIC this is for the B5's anyway I know of some B6's that run chips, injectors with FMIC's and the stock K03's putting out some good #'s

I didn't know that you could fit a FMIC with the stock bumper. Does the RS4 Front require any fabrication for a FMIC?

I have a b6 and fit the Race Teck from SPP under my stock bumper with out cuting eneything.

 

whats probably the best intercooler that gives the most power and that will fit with stock bumper for 01 1.8t fwd?

yea I was going to go with the SPP intercooler also but since I have been waiting since early spring for them to relese it for the B5's I just went with the evoms FMIC

for the RS4 bumper we had one in here with the same evo intercooler with the RS4 bumper it still used the stock rebar so there was some trimming involved

Panda I know I am going to redo it once I get everything done suspension, brakes and whatever else the bank account allows haha
