Default EvoMS vs Carbonio intake

So it's high time for me to replace the stock intake, because it's a piece of ****. I'm trying to decide between the Carbonio and the EvoMS intake; but I can't fiure out which one I'd rather have. On one hand, the EvoMS is $289.99 + tax + SH, which equates to something like $330, whereas the Carbonio can be bought for $329.99 + tax (I can pick it up from the place that sells it). So, if you were in my comfortable slippers right now, what would you do? I like the enhanced DV noise of the Carbonio, but can I get the same results from the EvoMS as well?

Personally i would go with

1 - 2.75" coupler
1- 2.75" U bend pipe
and then slap this on the other end

All in all should cost about $130 and be an intake worth having.

Too much money for little performance gain (if any at all). Just get a K&N drop in filter and save $$$

Haha, if I knew what I was doing, I'd totally do it. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to request help to even install the intake that I buy, so making my own would be impossible. But I'll pay you if you can make that intake and mail it to me!

Hmm....

Waste of money
or
Bigger waste of money.....

The stock intake is about as good as it gets. If you like the psshhh noise an itake will give you, then, whatever. Just know the air you suck in is not colder, it is hotter, and you will lose some low end tq and gain some breathing air at 7k rpm's. That is all.

I'm getting a new exhaust, as well as a bigger turbo, so the intake is necessary. Plus, I already have a K&N drop in filter

It will be as simple as removing the box, add in a U pipe and then installing the filter on the other end.

Here you go,

connect this to the maf
connect this the the maf and filter. Then your done. I even shopped for you

Rofl... You could fit the stock airbox with that turbo. Go ahead, I DARE you!

Nah. Do what cincy said. I think you could easily spend less than $100 though for just the intake. Get one of those audizine heat shields too.
