Hi guys,
I have a rattle problem. At about 3000-3500 RPM i get a very annoying "thin metal on metal" high frequency rattle noise towards the front of my car. I recently had an APR exaust installed. I have a B6, APR tuned with a 007 DV. My question is general, is there a known heat shield that goes on this car? Is there anything else i should be investigating that makes a similar noise? I am gonna crawl under there tonight and look....any past experiences with this problem that you could share would be appreciated. Thanks

Well problem found. The mechanic never bolted my exaust onto the cat tight enough.....it blew out the gasket and one of the bolts is loose enough to jiggle around. I will be going back there and getting a free fix or else. It got so hot it melted one of my head shields.
