just go with a custom exhaust. exhauast adds horsepower because it makes exhaust gas hotter whuch makes it easier to push out of the engine. it also decreases back pressure which allows the engine to get better airflow and produce more torque and horsepower

i would go with a milltek exhaust, its a little pricy but gives you the better look, sound and HP!!!

Funny... Like the Audi engineers didn't know what they were doing. Show me some dyno sheets that will convince me that an exhaust will give HP to a 2.8 then i'll be satisfied. Until you get proof then i say an Exhaust only adds sound, nothing more.

Hmm...not all correct there but its close enough. Go custom for the 2.8. Remove the mid resonators and get an aftermarket exhaust. You can go a step further and remove the cat and use a straight pipe. Either way your NOT getting more than 10-12hp. I'd love to see dyno results to prove me wrong.

Is this a daily question "exhaust for 2.8?"

I see a new one every day sheesh

anyways, remove the resonator replace it with a straight pipe, you will get a nice sound.

I did it and love it (check my myspace for the video, i dont feel like getting the link AGAIN)

cost 150 all together from a muffler shop to do it.

and yeah you will get hardly any power from exhaust, so just go for a deep tone and youre set.
