Default exhaust question

if the pipe on my audi a4 is 2 3/8" would it be ok if i bought a muffler with an opening of 2.5" so i could just slip it over and put a muffler clamp on it for the time being, until i start my higher paying job to get a 3" exhaust. any one have any ideas?

Dont get a 3" exhaust unless you go with a biiig turbo, or else you will lose power, not gain.

I believe you will not have problems with that ,just use reducers for the best fit.

You will have to get a reducer if you go with 2.5" pipe.
