Failed ignition coils......Dealer Recall!!
I drive a 2001 A4 1.8L and had some engine problems so I took it to my mechanic. Come to find out my one of my ignition coils failed and another was going to fail soon enough. $600 fix, but I talked to the dealership and they told me that it was a recall for my car and they are fixing it at zero cost. Just thought I would let ya'll know!!

Honestly, they are so simple to change yourself, If they try to pull something like that, just do it yourself.
