I heard that the fastest reportes 1.8t with the stock turbo and the GIAC 100 octain chip was 14.1 on the 1/4.

Does anyone (or possibly the record holder himself ) know what other mods were done to that car, what year it was, quattro? tip/manual?

Right now, i just have the borla exaust and an APR chip on a 2001 Audi A4 Quattro 5spd. with the sport package.

nobody will answer your question cuz the stock turbo is about the size of a safeway doughnut. You will have an INCREDIBLY hard time pushing a k03 past a 14.5... it simply just doesnt flow enough air to produce any times lower than mid 14's

 

Most likely the guy who did it did it on a stock turbo but with other upgrades. I.E. High perfomance cam shafts, exhaust, free flowwing intake, intercooled, highest possible boos attainable without blowing it, and most likely some sort of piggy back or stand alone fuel managment system. theres no point in getting a chip to puch taht much power if you can't turn it down. A turbo isn't designed to run extreme boost all the time. Generally speaking, a k03 shouldn't really run over 16lbs for a daily driver car.

 

a k03 shouldnt even push 16lbs for a daily driver, lol... maybe 14-15...

 

i dunno what all you guys are talking about but with my mods I can run a consistant 14.3 and im not that great of a driver on the strip
