If i do get tint it will be 20 percent, i have friends with 35, just doesnt cut it for me. You are right though, in certain light you can tell but I want tint that's always apparent and keeps the sun out. 5 percent was suggested but thats just rediculous to me

Congrats on the car and yes modding does get infectous have you done the debading maybe want to try de chromeing the front grills, jsut an option to keep you busy. Its easy adn basically free

 

Yeah I was considering debadging tomorrow, but its a dark colored 2002 so im worried about being able to buff out the fading. I take it also that none of these badges would have holes behind them. I would be taking everything but the Audi symbol off. That would be the A4, 1.8t and whatever that little bar below it is i think quattro

Of course, I am assuming you are a turbo, if its v6, none of this applies

First, make sure all normal maintenance has been done, t-belt, etc, and car is runnig good.
Next mod - chip and diverter valve. See the stickies at the top of the forum (faq's and all) there is a lot of info about it, or search
Then boost guage
Then cat-back exhaust
Then coilovers
Then brake rotors/pads/ss brakelines

We could go on and on, but then you would have no reason to familiarize yourself with the search button at the bottom of the main A4 page.
