Ok it took me about 3 weeks to figure out what was wrong with my car and now I finally fixed it. Now aside from needing to have my boost controller set, the car runs fine but sometimes the car smokes and its worryin me. Theres not check engine light but I am getting 3 codes. One is 17956 because I am running no n75 valve which is irrelivent. I was wondering if the other two codes could be causing the smoking? And how do I fix these problems?

17521 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor: B1 S1: Internal Resistance too High : P1113

16795 - Secondary Air Injection System (B2) - Incorrect Flow
or Secondary Air Injection System: Incorrect Flow Detected : P0411




Incase it helps I have a 2000 A4 1.8Tq runnin BT setup and a catless exaust.

What color is the smoke?

 

the first one is Oxygen sensor passanger side of the rear cat, if the smoke is blue it could be a head casket issue, does it smoke nder WOT, or whenever, check to see if you have any oil in the Turbo it maybe that. If you arnt running a cat dont worry about the cat Fault i didint see the bottom of your post. it may need to be grounded to the one in front of where the cat was.

 

smoke color and from where is a good thing to know. The passat had a bad valve cover gasket and that thing smoked really bad... and really stunk. If your blowing it out the exhaust, you have a bigger problem.

 

It is like a bluish whitish smoke that only smokes on sometimes. Smoke is coming out of tailpipe. I did notice when I took off my intake that there was oil pooling in the turbo inlet.

Burning oil FTL

 

wow wow wow.... you can swim in that oil.... hope that oil is not coming from turbo... get rid of from that oil first. then run the car for 10mins and chech again see if you get more oil.

you also consider to have oil catch can. I think you have apr inlet ha?
