Default Flat Tires?

Hi, I have an 05 quattro converable which isgetting flat tires on a regular basis (7 this year). A few haveoccurred because of sharp turns, while another resulted fromrunning over areflector while makinga lane change on the freeway. Notonehas resulted from asharp object such as a nail, knife, or such.Is there something I should know?

Where are the holes? Are they side wall rips? You might wanna invest in some run-flats IMO

is it always on the same wheel? i agree with tooextreme, it sounds like a damaged wheel. Maybe a defect in the lip where the bead is not sealing correctly-just a guess

either that or you have incredibly bad luck!

Agreed also - if you have a bad bead seal, it won't hold the air pressure right, and anything to stress the tire (ie, hitting something, hard cornering, etc) could cause it to leak down. Have the offending wheel checked throroughly - remove tire, inspect wheel, even put the wheel (with the inflated tire on it) into a water bath and watch for bubbling to see if you have a bead leak.
