Default front turn signal bulb replacement

Am trying to sell my daughter's 2003 A4, and it has a bad right turn signal on front. Does one have to remove the whole headlight assembly to get to the bulb?

You might be able to get the bulb out without removing the assembly (not sure how much room is back there offhand), but it's a lot easier to remove the assembly.

For the passenger side headlight, you'll have to remove the intake duct (2 screws, and it pops off). Then remove the two torx screws in front, and LOOSEN (don't remove) the two torxes behind the headlight. The assembly will pull right out.

This was helpful. I didn't realize the intake had to be removed for the second lower torx screw. I was only able to see one from the top.

It`s best to remove the entire assembly. Not hard to do really. remove the air cleaner intake, 4 torx screws and it's out. no biggie.
