Default Fuel pressure gauge failed or ?

Hi guys. When I check my fuel pressure gauge at idle I saw 45 psi on it but I am stock. Should't it be around 55 psi ?

is it the hose that goes directly to the fuel rail? if it is, yeah it's on the right location.
the gauce that I have, is very close to the fuel rail, I dunno if it makes any differance.

placement makes no difference the reason its reading low is cause its on vac. FP changes with map, so the vac is pulling down the fp, hence why you check it with the vac line pinched, and unplugged and pinched
