Full throttle damage?
I know this sounds like a completely noob question but here goes. I generally don't drive my cars very hard at all, and I just got a 2005 A4 2.0t. This car makes me want to drive hard though, just because it is so awesome to drive. Does occasional full throttle runs and shifting at say 4500-5000 RPM damage your engine or your car? This is not how I drive regularly, but sometimes, maybe like once or twice a month, I like to have fun in the car. I just want to make sure I'm not damaging or decreasing the car's life.
I've got a bike with over 35k miles and it sees 14k all day and never goes below 7 or 8k. Doin wheelies, redlining it out every chance i get and it runs mint. Same with a car, beat it right and it will last a lot longer then a car driven like a pu@@y but not taken care of and driven improperly.

Are you kidding me? There is no 'right' way to beat on a car. How can you even compare a car to a bike? 'Redlining it out every chance i get' is no way to treat a car or bike. You sir are an idiot[:@]
