TPS - FULL THROTTLE 76%
Hello,
My 1999 A4 V6 is only showing 76% at WOT. The reading is from an OBDII monitor while I am pushing on the throttle with my foot.
This may actually be correct but I am looking for some opinions.
Thanks,
Chris

RE: TPS - FULL THROTTLE 76%
It is difficult to say because I am not sure about the dynamics of the TPS % compared to the actual Throttle Body position. That is #1.
#2 is that I am not sure about how the variable INTAKE MANIFOLD plenum may effect nitrous. Since this in not a direct injection, the nitrous must pass through the TB, the IM, down to the cylinder chamber.
I am really hoping someone can tell me about the OBDII % reading at FULL THROTTLE before we begin pulling the intake manifold off the damn car.
Let me know,
Chris

RE: TPS - FULL THROTTLE 76%
Thanks for the responses.
The throttle cable is fine... I took apart the underdash and verified that the pedal was pulling on the cable the correct ammount. I got an extra 1% which is nothing worth metioning.
Are there any other adjustments that anyone may suggest. I really don't want to dig to get to the TPS unecessarily.
Are you positive it should be 90% on the V6 30V?
What should idle be? Mine is set at approximatly 3%.
