I'm not going to win any popularity contests, but Hell I'm not one to go with the flow.

I'm suposed to feel sorry for him? I'm suposed to what, condone him running around with things that are clearly in violation?

I'm sorry, whiney hiney people who think that they don't have to pay the consequenses when they break the law just make me wonder why the heck we allow them to breed.

sigh.

Look you broke the law, shut the beeeeep up and pay your fine. If you had not acted like a total dingaling to the officer you would have walked.

Yikes so that answers the cost of the no front plate ticket question! Well, in your state anyways. Ouch!

And I bet you could put a price on that beer rather easily... stupid mastercard.

that sux man..... i got pulled over yesterday for going 15 over the speed limit and the cop let me off with just a warning. i was sooooo surprised, thats the first time ive ever been pulled over and just got a warning. and i have had quite a bit of driving fines in the past. see not all cops are jerks. sorry i know this doesnt make you feel any better..... look on the bright side the fine will be reduced if you go to quart. the tickets may even be dropped if you fix the problem in the mean time.

I'm sorry to hear this, but you did dick with the cop by busting his ***** with the radar gun, you should never mess with a man with a badge and bigger ego, but as a chap said earlier there are some good cops out there. Sandmans advice sounds pretty good, id run with it.

ditto.. ^^ always fight your battles in the court room not with the cop, BTW.. i dont really understand you can say "pulled over for NO REASON" Then list three things that are noticable without already being pulled over (ie something like a trashbag) he pulled you over for legitimate reasons. All you had to say was "Gee Officer I didnt know I was supposed to have my front plate on there, I will go put it on now."

On the note of the corner lights are they orange bulbs? or white bulbs? Then that was just asking for it..

Just fix these things, take some pictures of the front plate mounted with your new tabs on it and your headlights on Show them to the judge and explain to him that you fixed the problem

he never had anything on you?... except no front plate, expired tag, and your lights?
It's just the fact that the police most likely pulled him over, then looked around for things to ticket him on. A friend of mine had the same thing happen.

The police tried to give him i think $400 of tickets. 1 for neons under the car (legal b/c they werent red or blue), another for having blue lights inside the car (under dashboard level, so once again legal), and one more ticket for a large exhaust tip (STOCK EXHAUST!!!!) the cop had nothing on him and he didnt get any tickets. thats what he gets for having a bright blue 350z though

in cali it's only big money if you dont fix the problem. if you put your front plate on and have a cop sign your ticket, it drops to a $15 fine.

You drive a bright colored car, you naturally draw more attention to yourself, as such you will *always* be more likely to be pulled over if you do anything wrong. It's one of the reasons I drive like a grandma in my wifes jazz blue 20th AE GTI heh

How out of date are we talking about? Days? weeks? and did you know?

If you knew they were out of date you knew there was a chance you'd get a ticket. Just like if you knew you were supposed to have a front plate by law and you decided not to put it on the car then why complain? thats the risk you take. Would you complain if you lost a hand of cards at a casino?

I didnt know about the clear corners being a violation, but buying the stealth bulbs will be cheaper than paying the next ticket
