Having problems programing my A4 garage door opener. I followed the handbook instructions without successs. Dealer also tried without good results. Anyone else with same problem? If so what is the fix.

 

What year A4? If the dealer tried and it didn't work, that is a big clue that something is wrong with the car.

 

I have a 2002 and if your light flashes really quick after programing then you will need to get ladder and open light casing by motor and press the programing button then follow instructions again, should work if you havent tried this

 

this is what I had to do after many failed attempts by the dealer. Found out my garage door opener has a rolling code system and using the "learn mode" is the only way to program the homelink in our cars
