I found a 1992 geo 4 door 5 speed that "Runs Great!" for 300 bucks... For 40 miles a gallon i'm going to take a look and prob. pick it up this week. Thank the special interest oil groups who are tied in with our government for it.
As far as what your asking... NO NO NO don't do it
If you can't afford to give your audi what it needs than trade it in for a geo
That's like dumping your beer out on purpose... Such a waste

Hey do you guys have a site like this one for your area
http://northdakotagasprices.com/
they have people all over the state that update daily on the lowest price in town - its a good tool to save a couple cents.

Especially if you have to drive 5 miles in traffic both ways to save a dime. To me, it's not worth it. I only fill up with Shell 91, cause 91 is the highest we have in CA.
Here's a couple of websites that list gas prices... both in CA, and nationally:
http://www.californiagasprices.com
http://gasprices.mapquest.com/index....00170000000008
According to Mapquest gas prices, the highest in the nation is at $4.15. I'd love to find out where this is... gotta be some full service place.

$4.15 for Regular Unleaded..... i feel you.... it must be somewhere near Lake Tahoe or last gas station right before you get into Yosemite Park⦠they always at least $1 more then average cali gas stationā¦
Agree, cost about extra $3. Not really worth it in the big picture. Best way to save money on fuel is slow down and do not drive as much.

You're talking about saving maybe $3 per tank (.20 cents times 15 gallons). It aint worth the trouble you'll have.
