So I removed some stuff from my car from the previous owner and when removing i smelt fuel. Found he drilled a screw into the fuel tank. For now I put the screw back in but I need to drop the tank and patch the hole. Also while I'm at it i should replace the rear dif seals. This aught to be a fun job really not looking forward to it. I wish I could find this retardt and punch him in the head.

 

You can always try to weld the hole

 

HAHA....next days headlines. "Local Dumb *** BLOWS HIUMSELF UP WHILE WELDING LEAK IN FULL GAS TANK" May i inquire as to WHY he drilled into the tank? Make him pay for it...

apparently he mounted something took aut the screws and than put them back in to cover up the smell igot cel for small gas leak detected. I'm fixing it next week after work while replacing my rear dif seals. The tank is also plastic so welding would not work so well.
