So my g/f A4 has never got real great gas mileage but it seams to be getting worse. Shes only getting about 15 in town and its not spring nice out side and thats all it gets. even on the hight its only about 20 or 21. Is that what they all get or is somthing wrong. any ideas i can do would be great thanks.

Alot of factors come into gas milage. Please be more specific about the car and driving habits and include your location.

its a 99.5 A4 with the 1.8 turbo its is quattro and its a automatic. She drives it nice almost all the time. mostly all in town driving. short trips. I am located in minnesota

 

what weight oil is in the engine? tire pressures? what grade fuel is she putting in? has the car been aligned lately? have YOU driven the car, to see if there's an obvious problem that she's missing? (sorry ladies, but on average your gender is notorious for this!)
